Three Bars. Three Days. One Convention Floor.
The Brief
RIMS RiskWorld is one of the largest annual gatherings in the global risk management and insurance industry. In 2026, it came to Philadelphia — and three of the conference’s major exhibitors asked us to run their booth coffee service simultaneously across the Pennsylvania Convention Center floor.
Each client wanted something different. Different brand identity, different booth architecture, different placement on the floor. One bar was tucked into a private pre-function space. Two were on the open expo floor, steps from competing booths. All three needed to look like they belonged to the brand running them — not to us. And all three needed to operate independently, without any shared infrastructure, for three consecutive days.
This is what that looked like.
Each of the three activations was designed and executed independently — separate equipment, separate barista team, separate branding, separate power coordination. From the outside, they looked like three different vendors. That was the point.
On the expo floor, two bars operated simultaneously within sight of each other, drawing crowds to their respective booths during the same break windows. In the pre-function space, a third bar ran private service for a more intimate client engagement — a different pace, a different energy, the same standard of coffee.

Expo floor setup — custom cart wrap, branded menu, latte art printer
Branded cups stacked and ready — each client’s cups kept entirely separate
At a convention like RiskWorld, every booth is competing for the same attendee attention. A generic coffee setup disappears into the background. A branded one becomes the reason people stop, stay, and come back. We built each bar to look and feel like it was built by the brand running it.
Custom Cups
Printed with the client’s logo, typeface, and brand colors.
Every cup that left each bar carried that client’s identity. Three separate cup designs, produced in advance, stacked and staged per station. No cross-contamination between setups.
Custom Menu Signage
Each bar had its own branded menu card — logo, colors, drink list.
The menu wasn’t Basileia’s menu. It was their menu, presented in their visual language. Espresso, latte, cappuccino, chai latte, cortado — with their name above the list, not ours.
Latte Art Printing
Client logo printed directly into the foam on every drink.
The Ripple latte art printer was on every bar. Every drink that went out had the client’s logo or artwork in the foam. It’s the detail that gets photographed and shared. At a conference full of people with phones, that matters.

Pre-function space setup — a different format, the same brand standard
“I was at RIMS in Philly a few weeks ago. This crew of baristas were off the charts. So friendly and great at making delicious coffees! We even did a selfie and they shared that image on top of my quad latte! Definitely hire this team — they’re amazing!”

On a busy convention floor, the coffee bar is the reason someone slows down at a booth. It gives them a reason to stop that has nothing to do with a sales pitch — and by the time the drink is made, the conversation has started naturally.
At RiskWorld, the bars running on client booths consistently drew foot traffic from the surrounding aisles. The latte art printer was a particular magnet — attendees were photographing their drinks and sharing them, which put the client’s logo in circulation beyond the booth.

The Pennsylvania Convention Center has its own load-in protocols, power requirements, and union house rules. Running one bar there requires coordination. Running three simultaneously — each for a different client, in different locations across the floor — requires a team that’s done it before.
